Adjectives

As part of my studying I am making adjective charts. I am trying to match corresponding adjectives in a table, as well as remember conjugations. The chart currently includes up to Genki Chapter 6.

Type
Present Positive
Present Negative
Past Positive
Past Negative
いです
くないです
かったです
くなかったです
です
じゃないです
でした
じゃなかったです
いい
いいです
よくないです
よかったです
よくなかったです

Rules
  • is identical to です
    • いです for present and かったです for past
    • Adds くな for negative in both present and past
  • いい matches , only replaces first with in all cases but present positive
For the adjective list I tried to organize so that positive is on the left, and negative on the right. For adjectives that aren't necessarily positive or negative, I organized them based on how the majority of people would likely categorize them if they were forced to choose.
