Verbs

As I learn verbs and their conjugations I have been creating charts to help me study. I have decided to add them to the blog. Currently I am at Chapter 7 of the Genki textbook, although the charts are stuck at Chapter 6 for now. ごめんなさい。

Rules:

• Changes for all  cases:
• う changes to い before it
• す changes to し
• くchanges to き.
• Present positive is ます.
• Present negative is ません.
• Past positive isました
• Past negative isませんでした

て-form additional usages

• てください             (please do this for me)
• てもいいです          (you may do…)
• てもいいですか      (may I do…)
• てはいけません      (you must not do…)
• Use to combine verbs or verb phrases (final verb conjugated without te form)
